A new archıtectural age for ceramics has begun. Now thanks to Flexbrick, it is possible to use ceramic materials created from baked tiles in a mesh system.
These ceramic meshes open up an endless range of possibilities in architecture. The system, which is an industrialized system based on an interwoven steel wire mesh that is enclosed in a mosaic of ceramic clay tiles stacked in horizontal and vertical band, can “dress” façades, roofs, squares and pavements. Mesh can be made by the common ceramic materials (such as bricks, glass, stone and porcelain) and even steel and wood are an option as non-ceramic materials. The mesh system’s density can be changed as desired. Flexbrick is brought to Turkey by KUTS and Protekpa cooperation.
